About the race
Take up our challenge that you can achieve remotely or on site over several runs or in one go: you have 28 days to cover 160 km and 6,000 m of elevation gain into the innermost heart of the territory and of the local community, where human history has left the most evident signs of its passage.
Discover the architecture of the villages as well as local traditions, still alive and deeply rooted, but also the rural landscape: pastures, vineyards, vegetable gardens, mills, cellars and cheese factories. A route in the wake of Roman and medieval times, but also an immersion in nature: lakes, waterfalls, nature reserves and wooded areas. Running, walking, alone or with friends, the choice is yours! Enjoy the colours of autumn and discover part of the Cammino Balteo, from La Salle to Pont-Saint-Martin, a hiking route that crosses 46 municipalities in the Aosta Valley which are mostly located at medium and low altitude.
Prize
Each runner who completes the challenge automatically participates in a draw to win 2 Pré-Saint-Didier Spa entry tickets or 2 Skyway Monte Bianco roundtrip tickets to Punta Helbronner.

About the Valley d'Aosta
Formed by glaciers and surrounded by mountains, the Aosta Valley is located in the north of Italy. A third of its territory is located more than 2,600 meters above sea level. It is bordered to the north by Switzerland (canton of Valais), to the west by France (Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region) and to the south-east by Piedmont. Extending over an area of approximately 3,270 km2, the Aosta Valley is the smallest region in Italy. With its iconic summits such as Mont Blanc, Monte Rosa, Matterhorn (here called Monte Cervino) and Gran Paradiso, the Aosta Valley is dominated by the highest and most impressive peaks of the Alps. The Aosta Valley presents itself as a mixture of cultures marked by the warm atmosphere of Italy with a slight touch of French charm. The region enchants visitors from all over the world thanks to its excellent gastronomy, its picturesque alpine architecture and landscape, its living traditions, its rich historical past and its wide range of cultural and sport activities. The Aosta Valley offers the perfect environment for an unforgettable holiday, not only for mountaineers and skiers, but also for those who are expecting higher standards.
To become a Finisher You must run 160 km with 6000 meters of elevation gain or the equivalent of 220 Kilometer-effort. Kilometer-effort means that for any gain of 100m in elevation, one kilometer is added to the distance of the route.
